The lady had brown hair and beautiful brown eyes. She was in her thirties, the period of beauty and love in her and she met a tired man on her walk one day. He sat on the bench, slouching forward with his head down, looking dejected and lost. Alone, he didn't have friends that mattered, nor did he have family for support.
She was a girl who had failed relationships, a paper heart and many friends who weren't friends and even so, she was happy in her own way. The occasional popcorn treats, the silent walk in the night gazing at stars were her solace in a cold, cold world. She saw him and knew she needed him as he needed her; a moment's humancy. She reached for his disheveled hair with empathy and yet a pinch of caution and spoke with her understanding silence. Life can suck some times..
